The Maasai Mara has several airstrips, so a booking that simply says “flight to the Mara” needs one more check. Ask your camp which landing point it uses and whether pickup is included. Choosing an airstrip far from your accommodation could add a long drive after your flight.

The same principle applies to Amboseli and Tsavo: confirm the exact landing point with your lodge before paying. An airstrip appearing in this list does not mean it has daily scheduled flights.
